We are here
Rußbach is a district of St. Wolfgang. It is a 5-minute drive from the town centre. Taking the “alte Wolfganger Landesstraße”, a street set within a very beautiful landscape, you can reach the imperial city of Bad Ischl in just 10 minutes. The peaceful setting in Rußbach, not far from the Schwarzensee lake and within cycling distance of the Wolfgangsee lake, is something our guests truly appreciate.
Within a 30 to 45-minute drive are the city of Salzburg, as well as all of the other noteworthy locations and lakes (e.g. Hallstatt, Gmunden, Ausseerland, Mondsee, and Attersee) within the Salzkammergut region.
Rußbach is part of the public bus service between Salzburg and Bad Ischl. There are hourly buses that will take you to Bad Ischl Railway Station in 15 minutes. The "Rußbach bei St. Wolfgang" stop is located just a few minutes’ walk from the Branntweinhäusl
